Advertising — whether in print, on radio and television or as a banner on the Web — is one of the many options for conveying your message. This communications discipline may also involve direct mail, marketing collaterals, packaging, exhibit and point-of-purchase displays and more. Before deciding what to say, it is more important to determine if this is an effective way to reach your targets (see Strategy). Usually, however, advertising will play some role in your integrated marketing efforts.

Since COCO+CO. believes it is a conflict of interest to accept the standard advertising agency commission, client partners typically receive 15% off monthly invoices from commissionable print, cable and broadcast media.
